Liberating to cancel TWC, isn't it. I too have been a customer of ATT since January, have only had a couple of minor problems, quickly fixed. I have the U450 package and 18Mps internet. I like it a lot.

Can you detail your problems please?
Also-- holy crap, that package costs $182/mo for 6 months, then $204/mo for the next 6. Even with the $100 back, that's $184.67/mo. Way too much for me.
The weird thing is that if I get rid of the phone from that plan, the price goes down to $174/mo and you get $250 cash back from them, which takes the price down to $153.17/mo.
Ah. I just went online and signed up for the U200 with the 6Mbps internet service. Gonna cost me $107 per month, and I get the $250 cashback as well. I still have a crappy old tv but when I get a new TV, I'm going to need to pay an extra $10/month for the HD service. Thanks!
And TWC has been cancelled!
//edit: Got an email saying installation might take anywhere from 4-6 hours. Seriously?!!!
How did you get the U200 package with 6Mbps?
The U-verse website says the U200 is only 3Mbps and you have to get the U300 package to get 6Mbps. Maybe it's just me, but I don't see no real advantage in cost savings of the U-verse pricing when compared to TWC.
I hope U-verse is everything you thought it would be.

It's not that it's a big cost savings (we're only saving about $10.00 a month) and like I said, it depends on what package you get anyway. But I do feel like you get more for your money (more channels, way better DVR and better CS)

That's my only objection to switching to AT&T / U-Verse. No real discount for bundling all the services.
I have ATT for phone & DSL ($90/mo)+ Directv ($100/mo) for my video. I really like Directv's service and hesitant to switch.
The uverse packages are still $180 with discounts - no real financial incentive to switch.
It would take a price for the package down at or below $150 to give up DTV and give AT&T the power over my service.
We decided to upgrade our cable from the standard to digital/hd (got to have Fox Soccer Channel). My wife got a quote from ATT. Our druthers, for convenience sake was to stick with TWC and upgrade with them.
Wife contacts TWC; talks to nice customer service person. That person quotes her a price that is basically the same as ATT. Wife tells customer service she wants to check with husband and will call right back. She calls back 30 minutes later, gets a different customer service person. Customer service says he's knows nothing of the offer previous one offered. Gave us a new quote that would have approx. $30 higher per month than ATT.
Again, for convenience sake, we decided to give TWC another chance. In all we called 5 times and got 5 different quotes. Mind boggling.
TWC now has one less subscriber. So far U Verse has worked fine.
Our apt needed internet for the tenant access PC. TWC quoted only a business rate although the PC gets much less use than most home PC's.
I suggested DSL. Although the office has AT&T landlines, the tech couldn't make the service work after spending almost a day trying.
TWC came out and had it up pronto.
Stay away from new AT&T new products unless you want the experience equal to buying a first year GM car.
Think back to the early days DSL before switching.
The good thing about U-Verse is that it makes TWC give better deals and control their greed.
