Has anyone seen the paint job they are doing on the little strip plaza in RTP/Durham where Sal's is on highway 54? Very bright orange and red. It looks like something my kids launched back up after eating spaghetti and getting ill. What are they thinking?

That paint job is being done by Vomit Brothers Painting, out of Clayton. Bang up job if you ask me, super grotesque.

I wish I had a camera. Hopefully someone can snap a picture of it. It's something that needs to be seen to be believed.

Not a good day to take a photo of its awesomeness. Surely the new paint job will attract businesses into their vacant spaces.

BTW - Sal's moved. It is in the old Rudino's/Durbar location on 55.

Thanks for the update. I don't know what the name of that little strip plaza is. I just reference it by Sal's. I better get another landmark. Now I can say the ugly painted place.

I haven't seen that particular building, but this is what is happening at the old pizza hut on walnut street also. Very bright orange-red.

If only there was a small device that all of us could carry around with us that had a camera built right in and maybe some other features too, like making telephone calls . . .
