We live in California but are planning a move to the East.We want to find an area in Zebulon or Chapel Hill and are making a trip the end of July to look at properties. We would really appreciate some street names and or houses for sale that are located on at least 1 acre of land. If there are any of you out there that have any info we might be able to map out some sites to visit on our trip and any information on whether it is a good or bad place to reside. I am a writer and my partner works at WalMart so we would like to not be too far from walmart, as well. He doesnt drive, has worked for WalMart for almost 20 years and I am an accomplished Author. We are looking for a home, to settle in. thanks in advance

Can I ask why you are considering both Zebulon and Chapel Hill? Those two very different locations at two opposite ends of the triangle area. You are also likely to see a vast difference in relative home prices between the two.

I was wondering that as well. But perhaps those are the two WalMart locations that her partner might be walking to?

IMO, if you want to be within walking distance of a wal mart on 1+ acre of land focus your search on Zebulon area. Not sure you'll find that even in Zebulon though. 1+ acre of land in Zebulon, absolutely. Within walking distance of wal mart is going to be your challenge.

That was my thought too. But according to the store finder online Walmart is not in Chapel Hill.

There are a number of homes listed for sale in Chapel Hill with at least a 1 acre lot. They are generally over $1 million (some are several millions).

What features, amenities, and price range are you looking for?

There is no WalMart in Chapel Hill - in fact there are no big box stores of any kind in Chapel Hill. The town doesn't like them.

Zebulon and Chapel Hill are about as far apart as possible in just about any way you could name, including home prices

Would you like to have a real estate agent contact you? I can refer someone that can help you with that area. If so, you can send me a private note with your information and I will have them contact you.
