I need all the advice I can get. I have the horrid bugs come into my home only 1 or 2 at a time. If I will that 1 only 1 returns the next night. I usually only see it at night, but today I saw 1 in the day time.
They freak me out. They are huge.
I cannot find any holes where they are coming in.
I usually grab the vacuum and suck him up. That grosses me out.
I need them out of the house. OUT OUT OUT.
Any suggestions?
Help me please. How do I keep them out?
The house is clean, they do not seem to be looking for food but they sure love my ceiling.
Don't panic. I know they're gross but there's ways to control them. I used to see the occasional huge tree roach inside during the fall when it starts to get cold outside.
Called my pest control guy. He puts bait down in the crawlspace, and sprays around the exterior foundation now. If I see anything inside (which I haven't for a long time now) it's usually almost dead, anyway. But that's just as bad!
You've got to make sure there is nothing around that will attract them. Be extremely clean in the kitchen and leave no crumbs, no open cereal boxes, nothing that's not in a sealed container.
They're really gross, but they can be controlled so that you don't have to go through what you're going through.
best,

I found one the other day during the day.. totally got out the wasp spray.. i knew it wouldn't kill it but it slowed it down for sure.. nasty prehistoric critter!!
Actually I dont think so, I then continue to vacuum the house which picks up alot of dog hair and has the carpet fresh powder on it and that seems to kill them. I always check the canister before I empty it in the trash and there is a dead palmetto there. Unless he comes back to life after I put him in the trash.

Maybe you keep seeing the same ones that you vacuum up.
