Has anyone else experienced a decline in showings over the weekend? Most of ours for some reason are during the week.

We have had 16 showings in 7 weeks on the market. We have even had a 2nd showing. All comments are they love the house, but feel the neighborhood might be too far. 3 people are still I guess trying to talk themselves into it

Any other recommendations as far as how to get an offer?? Would lowering the price help in this situation? We are already the cheapest in the neighborhood (we are at 499,900 when homes go for 1.5 million!)

Thanks,
Susan

Have you talked to your realtor? When my listings have second showings, I follow up with the realtor before the showing (if possible) and after to get a feel for what is going on, what their clients are thinking and to see if they have any questions or concerns. If the main concern that you have received is "you are too far out" but your home itself is showing well, then it seems like the right buyer will come along.

I can't answer much more because I don't know where you are, etc. Feel free to send me your mls privately if you would like some feedback

Leigh

What State are you selling in??
I have heard the ones that come during the week, are more serious than the ones on the weekends, that might be a untruth, but that is what I have been told.

We have most of our showings during the week. We typically have one or two on Saturdays and usually none on Sundays...though in the 6 weeks it's been on the market we've had two Sunday showings.

where are you selling? We seem to get showings as the week goes on. Have you done any price reductions yet? We have done one and it did produce more showings.

We've had two "second" showings. One chose another house and I think the other one is still "thinking"..........
