Default no good...stay away

This place is less than mediocre. Not worth the money. Need some real nail techs that work faster and more carefully. Never will I go again.

Charlottegirl, thanks for the feedback. SO far, it seems like the only place in that area worth going is My Island Spa. I have heard negative feedback about Color as well...

I got a horrible set of gel nails at another nail spa in Cary and need to figure out who else might do a reasonable job.... so I'm hearing mixed reviews about Red Polish... do they do gel?

I need to look up My Island... where are they located?

Btw... don't get gel from Beverly Nails in Salt Box Village. Oh good grief. They did a very good pedi and the tech was quite gentle. She did cute designs, too. The place seems clean and so forth... but the gel? I went back and it's still screwed up. I think it's too thick to dry right.

*sigh*

Okay... I see this thread is from years ago, but does anyone know if My Island Spa is still decent?

Their site looks promising, as do their online reviews. I need to get my nail situation resolved. These just suck.

Yup, My Island Spa is still decent. The owner works there with her family. High standards, I go there for my mani/pedi/eyebrow waxing...

Hope this helps,

D

Oh yes! It does.

I think I'll go sometime this week/weekend and see if they can undo my gel nail disaster.
