If you ever get nostalgic for a good southern breakfast its hard to beat Cousin's Kitchen in downtown Durham.
Expect to warp back in time - about 40 years or so.

How about brunch? Piedmont and Tonali are two different by excellent places for brunch.

Piedmont has a good weekend brunch.

Briggs can be a little inconsistent, but usually decent.

Watts Grocery, which someone already mentioned, also has a good weekend breakfast/brunch.

And I'll add one more voter for Elmo's.
