Does anyone know where I can go to find out what the laws are for domestic cats in Cary and/or North Carolina. I have done several key word searches and am coming to a dead end.
I am specifically looking to find out what the licensing laws are and if there are any breeds of cat that are banned. I know that there are certain breeds of dog that are banned in certain areas and I wanted to make sure if there were for any cats. I have my heart set on having my Egyptian Mau flown to me but wanted to make sure I wouldn't run into any problems and have to have her sent back home to live with my parents (who are taking care of her now.)
Thank you! I just contacted Wake County and found that only exotic breeds and exotic mixes are illegal or banned. I will be able to have my Mau sent to me.
Is there a place w/the actual laws online vs just a link to call a # - ? Like I'd like to know if there are any leash laws requiring freaking CATS to be on a leash. If not, there should be.
