Crime is low.....but so is education spending per pupil and child-care services....and about to get lower.

Funny how most of the rated higher than Raleigh are not in the South. And the top one is the New York metro area.

Coming in 18th out of 50 doesn't seem to be anything to crow about. But people will see headlines and think, "Yes! Raleigh is THE place to be!!!"

Yeah but if you figure that they are over 270 cities with a population of 100,000 or more.....18th looks a whole lot better Still does not bode well for education though. Especially with more budget cuts coming.
