My son loved the activity, he thought he was going on a treasure hunt. But, I was surprised when his older (MS & HS) brothers wanted to go too! Good Luck!

Do you have to live in the city limits to take advantage of those?

My pleasure. My daughter attended a couple of weeks of their track out cams at the Briar Creek Community Center last January and a couple of weeks ago. She loved it.

We also use the Prestonwood Country Club (where we are members in Cary). They also have very reasonable track out/summer camp rates and they provide the food!

Track outs are the time between quarters (normally around 3 weeks) that year around students get as opposed to one long summer break.

I just discovered "Time Out for Kids", which is a drop-in child care center in Holly Springs. I believe there are other locations as well. They charge $125 per week for track-out for the first child and $65 per week for the second child. Much more reasonably priced compared to other places I've checked out!

One camp that I've sent my kids to during track out is the sports camp over at Dreamsports Center in Apex. My kids absolutely loved it! They play games and sports all the whole time but the counselors also encourage the kids to practice good sportsmanship and teamwork. I recommend it.
