I was wondering if anyone knew what they are building or doing on the corner of Capital Blvd and Perry Creek Road. Thanks!

From my research, it's a road widening project.

Is there any where we can find out for sure about the subdivision? I wonder if there are any regulations because the school is right there?

They are building a church there, in addition to the road-widening project.

Default Midnight and beyond construction!!!!

1:27AM Currently. No one is sleeping, least of all my 4 year old and wife! WTF Public Works! Sure your post says Perry Creek will be closed starting 9PM October 22nd, but did you really have to start construction at 11:45PM the same night and in a residential neighborhood?

I live about a block away from the work site and my freak'n house is vibrating (seriously). My wife and I have raised our tone a db or two! The people who live curb-side to the work zone have probably been vibrated out of bed. Maybe they did as I and called 911 and Raleigh Public works office. RPW was closed of course with no voice mail. 2010 people! Get with the program!! Even my daughters toy cell phone has a 15 second voice mail for Christ sake!

What moron at some point said to themselves or in reality a council of like minded peers, we should start construction at 11:00PM as that's a great time to start a big front end loader and dump truck and drive around. Also Little to no traffic will be on the roads. Boy ain't we smart, boy howdy!

That is so totally true! Your brilliant! Indeed, there will be little to no traffic on the road, because their at home in the bed! DOH! Welp. Guess that's about it. Time to grab a lawn chair and go sit in the middle of a construction site and watch a couple of fat guys drive a front end loader.
Singing of at 1:40AM house still vibrating. Long time for such a short post. Had to pee!

Default Oh and....

The url:

The Official City of Raleigh Portal - Perry Creek Road Widening Project to Close Bentlley Circle Intersection Starting Friday

"There will be alternating two-way traffic in one travel lane, directed by flagmen, from 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22 to Monday, Oct. 25, at 6 a.m. Three travel lanes for two-way traffic will be available starting on Oct. 25 after 6 a.m."

Just letting you know without saying it directly Monday around 6AM we'll be done. Just in time for work. Good thing I was able to get some rest.
