btw shaggin' is more of a Charlotte/SC thing. Raleighites wouldn't understand.
Are you sure about that? The Raleigh natives I know (and several from North of the city in Oxford and Granville County) are well aware what shaggin' is....still do shag.
Heck, you can take classes in Wake Forest at the rec center and even I know where there is a shaggin club in Raleigh.
You wimmin simply don't understand. Topsiders have rubber soles and you CAN'T shag wearing rubber soles. You need leather soles as are found on weejuns in order to sliiiiiiide.
The shag is the offical dance of SC and the heart and soul of the dance was "The Pad" in North Myrtle Beach. As much as I love NC, the shag belongs to SC. I only rope in Charlotte because of its proximity to lesser Carolina.

OH gawd.......yes, there is a long tradition of shaggin' in SC..but wow....to dismiss the many NC native that love beach music and shaggin'.....***rolls eyes***
Yes, the Chairmen of the Board only meant to sing about SOUTH Carolina girls....not CAROLINA girls.....make sure you buy the special remix of that.

As a girl who grew up on the coast of NC, I can tell you shaggin is certainly a NC thing. Not sure about a Raleigh thing. But I remember in the 80s my sister and her Carolina Friends hitting lots of bars in Chapel Hill and Raleigh to shag....the dance that is. Well, maybe the other too... but I wasn't there
So what about those license plates? Did you see there is one that is a "NO Litter" Plate. There was a thread a while back about the road side litter problem.... maybe we all should get that one .... see if it helps clean up the roads any.
