For reasons that I don't want to relive through repeating, (and those over, say, 40 have probably been there) I am in need of inexpensive very minor body work to one of our vehicles. I would appreciate recommendations; and when I say small and inexpensive, I mean a 5" shallow dent at the bottom of the door which I am sure given the car (late model, not cheap) would cost like $2,000 at a "non-inexpensive" shop. As I have probably said elsewhere, I am a southerner who lived for many years in California, and one of the things I discovered there that I loved was that there were many small and inexpensive body shops scattered around the towns. In those days all I drove was Porsches, and I could (and did) have a dent like this one fixed in one of those shops for $300. Maybe it is stupid, but I am looking for that same situation here and now...
I'll second the recommendation for paintless dent removal. I haven't had it done, but I heard Jay Leno describing the process and he was adamant that it was the best thing to do. There is a Dent Wizard on Capital Blvd.

I had one very small dent and one the size of a basketball, neither lost paint. The True2Form on Durham-Chapel Hill Dr/15-501 was were I finally went. They had access to a Dent Wizard for the small dent, but had to use traditional methods on the larger.
This is my second time using True2Form, and I've been very pleased with them. My previous experience involved an insurance claim, and this one was out of pocket (and their price was very reasonable). Thanks all for the great suggestions.
