We moved to Louisburg and there is one vet here that I know about. That clinic may be really good, but it'd be nice to have suggestions to vets in the north Raleigh area, specifically for cats.

More questions later about shopping, medical and other needs later.

Thanks for any replies in advance!

"Dr. Jon" at his Magnolia Animal Hospital on Capital Boulevard is excellent.

I've been very pleased with many of the vets at Bowman Animal Hospital on Creedmoor at Strickland. Very thorough, professional, and knowledgeable. Goodwin and Silverstein are two of my favorites.

I'm happy for the referrals.

I started using Quail Corners Animal Hospital back in the '80s. My favorite vets have retired but I keep going there and for emergencies, you can't beat them.

I've also been going to their "sister" office but I find that they are always trying to sell me something...diet food for my dog and cats...testing to find out why my cat coughs, etc., etc. so I am considering a change.

Vicki

We like Jared Conley, the other vets, and staff at CareFirst Animal Hospital (Falls Pointe location on Falls of Neuse) Care First Animal Hospital. 919-841-4211. If you check out their website, they have discounts and offers throughout the year. We watch for the geriatric specials for our 13 yr old Jack Russell. they also have an online feature called Pet Portal where you can access your pet's health info, schedule appointments, get medication schedules, learn about your pets health issues.

Bowman Animal Hospital have wonderful vets. They even offer alternative medicine for animals. We really like Dr. Alley and Dr. Hunt. They have helped us out greatly with our dogs and kittens.

I have used Bayleaf Animal hospital for over 15 yrs. Dr. Wilson (owner) is so compasionate and amazing. I too have used Quail Corners in extreme emergencies (like 3 am visits)- which I hope never to do again. I also have used Bowman a few times as they do have a great reputation, but they are just so expensive for me.
