ARS sucks. When I bought my house I went through receipts and saw what they charged the previous owner for minor work..ridiculous, they are thieves.

Cary plumbing sounds like a winner, more companies should realize that doing the right thing in the long run is more profitable than fleecing their customers once and moving on.

Ditto re ARS. When it comes time to renew my contract (yes, I fell for that ...), I do not believe I will be doing so. Every time they come around ... every time ... they try to pressure me to purchase expensive, and, as I later find out via Google (I will not get these "special offers" unless I look into them first), not particularly wise services. This year's visit was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. The tech was trying to hard-sell me a product costing several hundred dollars, and when I later did some research, I found out that the US Government agency investigating this service actually cautions against it, and has claimed that it is of dubious benefit to the homeowner. (It certainly would be beneficial to ARS!)

When my air conditioner died, I purchased one off ARS. BIG mistake. Big, big mistake. I read of other HVAC services that are far more highly-regarded, and will sign up with one of them next year.
