Thanks for clarifying that.

Lesson of the day:
Don't take directions from someone that's from out of town. Especially one that lives nearly 5000 miles away.

The Flea Market mall is in North Raleigh (just inside 440 on Capital Blvd). That could be where the confusion was.

That is one flea market, the Ralegh Flea Market Mall.
And there is also Watkins Flea Market on Rock Quarry Road.

The real deal, grandaddy of them all, flea market is a the NC State Fairgrounds, at the corner of Blue Ridge Road and Hillsborough street. worth a couple hour stroll any nice Saturday or Sunday.

Default Is the Farmer's Market open on July 4th?

Does anyone know if the Farmer's Market in Raleigh is open today? I was wanting to ride over there but wasn't sure if they were opened or not. Hope everyone has a safe holiday.

Thanks for sharing the photos. I saw the farmer's market exits; however, I did not have time to stop in them.

FYI: We have hush puppies here in SC. They are usually served as a side dish to one's seafood meal here -- sorta like french fries to a chicken finger kids meal. Some hush puppies are better than others.

Just polished off three ears of Fantasia sweet corn, courtesy of Barefoot Farms and the NC State Farmers' Market.
Blueberries for breakfast.
