Where does everyone get those 10-20% off shopping passes that I see being used? I've bought the Sunday paper with all the advertisements in the middle but I didn't see any coupons for those stores. I need to get started on shopping for 8! upcoming birthdays!(Family) And if I can get it cheaper-Why not

Sometimes they are in the weekday paper or you get them in the mail if you have the store's credit card.

I usually get them in the mail to Macy's, JC Penney and sometimes Belk. I'm not sure I get them from Dillard's though. Sometimes you just have to ask them to add you to their mailing list.

Every time Belk has ever had a coupon, you get to the store and learn that it is only good on a very limited number of items, never what you want. Seriously: read the fine print.

Yeah, Dept store coupons are notoriously bad about that (esp Macy's and Belk). I will say that JC Penney coupons usually include just about everything though and I frequently get a free $10.00 off ANYTHING in the store from them. I just bought some bath towels with that coupon that were already on sale 50% off.

Macy's has one in today's News and Disturber!

15% off. Works well but not on the "designer" brands, usually.

I have NEVER been to Macy's and used their coupons/savings passes successfully. And I shop there and try all the time. There is always a reason why the item you want does not qualify. If you look at the fine print on their coupons, it lists the exclusions...almost everything in the store!
