Mystery Lake or Wendell Rock Quarry is now owned by private owners that bought the Quarry and 40 acres in 2011, and have built a beautiful home there, it is being turned into a scuba diving park. Police officer lives there! No trespassing

Mystery Lake is located in Wendell, NC

From Raleigh, heading east on New Burn Ave. , New Bern Ave. becomes US buss 64 east after you get out of Raleighs city limits. , keep on this Road for about 14 miles roughly , 64 buss. East will take you through Knightdale, NC , stay on 64 buss. , you will cross under I-495. At this point keep straight 64 buss east becomes Wendell Bivd. , stay on Wendell Blvd. , on the east side of Wendell you will come to a traffic light where route 231 south intersects , keep to the right at the light and you should then be on Old Wilson Rd. , stay on Old Wilson Rd. For about 1/10 of a mile , just before you cross the railroad tracks - turn left onto the gravel road , the entrance to mystery lake will be on your right just before the gravel road ends.
