DQ in Cary near Cary High School in the shopping center with Ollie's. In Morrisville at intersection of Carpenter-Fletcher and Davis.

I would like to see Roy Rogers return to NC. Their last location was in Greensboro before converting to Hardee's. They have good burgers, as well as roast beef sandwiches better than Arby's, and famous fried chicken. Plus a fixins bar to top your sandwich. They are currently expanding again with nice freestanding locations in Northern Virginia, Maryland, and New Jersey. Would be great if they would get a franchise back in NC.

As mentioned, nearest Jack in the Box to the Triangle is in the Charlotte area, as well as Greenville-Spartanburg in SC. They have some good burgers, as well as a nice variety menu. And full breakfast and burger menu served all day.

In N Out has only expanded to Texas, with most locations in California. But would be great to see them add some East Coast locations, perhaps Raleigh-Durham, Charlotte, Greenville-Spartanburg, and Atlanta.

Whataburger is in southern Georgia and Jacksonville, Florida. Not to be confused with What-A-Burger in Concord and Kannapolis, NC. But both chains are good.

Totally agree on In and Out.
Actually, after reading two posts up, I was thinking of Whataburger (the orange logo with the big W on it). Love that place, and yes, they are in Texas. In and Out is OK, but didn't blow me away.

Sorry for my mistake.

Probably has more appeal in places that aren't spoiled with CharGrill and Cook Out... or even In-N-Out (on the west coast). To be honest though, I don't understand the appeal at all. I'd even rather have Wendy's personally.

I agree. Its appeal seems very overrated lately.

As far as the original point of discussion, wrapping a burger (or really any other food that may be takeout) in foil also means you have to figure out something else to put it in order to reheat, which seems like an unnecessary step.

You can feed two people at Wendy's for what it costs one person at 5 Guys. I'm still shocked that people pay $13-15 for a burger, fries and drink, none of which is very good.

Just to be sure....are you saying that Wendy's is better than Five Guys? I think that might be what you're saying.....
