I think someone should update latest data on city-data statistics about Morrisville. That will help a lot of people in decision making.

I would recomend you not pay any attention to online crime statistics. Different police depts report crime differently. Some departments dont report anything so all you get is data from the state or county. What is useful is that some departments will allow you to see (online, or request it) crime maps or a full call list for a particular area.

As for Mo'ville, I lived there for 8 years and was not aware of any crime in my neighborhood except for burgleries of houses under construction, which was basically a constant occurance. Im pretty sure its a huge scam - contractors would put something in the house, the next week they would go back and take it out, and the builder would call the police and report it stolen and insurance reimbursed the builder. The thing I noticed was that whenever anything got stolen, it never really delayed constructio. ie, electrical components were stolen before the inspection, so the builder could replace it without having to get another inspection. And once it was inspected, it didn't get stolen.

Back to the point, everyone left toys, bikes, mowers etc out, car windows open, doors unlocked. Nothing ever happened. Seems to be as crime-free a place as you can find.

So, what crimes would there have been???

Vicki - I live in Breckenridge and we bought in March of 2001. We were the 3rd phase, I believe. I can't remember how many phases overall - but there were at least 9 on display within the community when we bought. So, yes - there was a lot of building going on. I believe Weston Estates was also being built at that time as well.
