I live in Highcroft Village and love it. Great location, great people, and low HOA dues. Cons are lot size but I dont care about that. you get what you pay for. twice the lot size is twice the price in 27519.

jshallen, thanks for your answer! do you mind me asking a few more questions?

do you like the schools? do the neighborhoods have younger families with kids or older more established families? how are the community amenities (such as pool/tennis/trails/tot lots/parks)?

TIA!

I live next door in 27560 (literally 1/2mi from 27519) and love it. Love how many kids we have of all ages; love the diversity in the schools. Our elementary (Carpenter) is in 27519 and we like it very much. Highcroft, Green Hope and several of the other elementary schools in MOrrisville (Morrisville, Cedar Fork elementaries) have excellent reps, too.

The whole area is quite clean and you can find your usual chain stores but there are some great small local restaurants and shops. And what I love about where I live is that I can bike to so many places--I'm biking to Pilates tomorrow!

The greenways are awesome, and all the parks around here. A greenway backs up to my house and my kids and I regularly walk the dogs on the path over to the park/playground, or to the shopping center just up the street.

Hope that helps

I love the convenience of this location:
I'm at High House and Davis so I can walk to all the stores in Stone Creek.
5 minutes to Bond Park (awesome park!!)
5 minutes to Beaver Creek to shop in Apex
12-15 minutes to Southpoint via 751
10 minutes to Crossroads/Cary Towne Center
15-20 minutes to Raleigh
25 minutes to downtown Durham/Duke
30 minutes to Chapel Hill

schools are the best in wake county

there is a park in highcroft, a playground in highcroft village, and greenways everywhere

there is a great mix of both....tons of 6 month to 3 year olds in my neighborhood. i used to live in highcroft which was filled with older kids.
