Johnston County has some great schools, those in the Clayton area, in particular. I'm not too fond of the Smithfield/Selma side, based on their scores.
8 years ago, Johnston County was just a small rural community.
However, there have been many years that their growth was 400%. Of course, with this growth, comes more shopping and better schools so I'm not sure why anyone would be surprised at the news. As for growth in Clayton area, it will continue. I've sold quite a bit in that area and you may be surprised to know that a lot of folks from up north enjoy Clayton.
I like Clayton. My parents live there, my sister lives there and I have a lot of clients that live there.
