RDU got down to 34 this morning, with widespread frost reported throughout the region. Some areas got to or below freezing, including Sanford which got down to 32. For some, the growing season has ended. Warmer for the rest of the week. Colder next week.

And pansy season has begun! Yes!

(As a former Snow Belt citizen, the fact that pansies survive here throughout the winter makes me very happy. )

Well, they survive the temps. The local deer herd, not so much

Brrrrrrr, that's as cold as it was up here this morning! But take heart, they're calling for it to be up in the 70s again down there within a few days!!
