Anyone have any suggestions for a decent place (i.e. not fast food) to grab a bite to eat in or near downtown Raleigh? We need to be in and out in 45 minutes this afternoon.

Clyde Coopers Barbecue on Davie Street will have you in and out as fast as you can wolf it down.
IMO, good 'cue is the original fast food, sine qua non.

I am not sure Cooper's serves that late on Friday...think they close after lunch.

Which way are you coming in? How about somewhere in Cameron Village...easy in and out...such as Village Deli or Flying Biscuit?

We are coming in from East Raleigh, and then headed out that way again, so if there is something in the central/east area, that would be best.... THANKS!
