My recommendation is for All Saints Chapel on East Street in downtown Raleigh across the street from historic City Cemetery. It was built in 1875 and completely rehabilitated a couple of years ago following its relocation - it was slated to be torn down to make way for a parking lot before it was saved and is now mostly used as an event space.
It's privately owned and not used as an active church - so no worries about classes/membership/affiliation, etc. I've been to a couple of weddings/functions there, and it's a thoroughly gorgeous space, plus they have a reception space downstairs - I think it seats around 200? Talk about some pretty pictures...

Congratulations and best of luck!!!
