01, 11, 21, 31, 41, 51 minutes after each hour every hour the weather is shown.

It's "on" the ones.

TWC's News14 channel divides up its weather information/forecasting throughout their 30-minute cycle. At 01 minutes past the hour/half hour, you'll get a quick look at current conditions; at 11 minutes past, you'll get the near-term forecaset; and at 21 minutes past, you'll get the full long-term forecast.

this has been common in the ny metro area for years, through the main news station, WINS... I remember traffic was on the 8's... it was all news, all the time, and it was regimented with world, national, local, fiancial news, etc, all on a certain number. So, during rush hours the traffic was gives so fast the reporters would be gasping! When ever we are back in the area I smile listening to it... unless, of course, I am listening on the road!!!!!

News 14 does "weather on the 1's" and The Weather Channel does "Local on the 8's"

Yeah, I think News14Carolina ripped this concept off of the Weather Channel, which has had "Local on the Eights" for years now.
