Is there a box office where I can purchase tickets? I was going to buy online and, even though I thought the $6+ convenience charge was ridiculous, it didn't stop me. Then, on the very last page before you enter your billing info, it tacks on another $4 "processing" fee.... that's why I'm wondering about a box office. The 2nd crappiest tickets in the house end up quite expensive! Thanks!

The box office phone number is 919-719-0900. They will mail your tickets to you or hold them at Will Call if the performance is less than a week away. They are also very helpful with seating as you are speaking to a real person that is very knowledgeable about the venue. The M-F box office is located at the Carolina Ballet studios on Atlantic Ave., but they will be at the theatre one hour before performances if you want to purchase tickets at the door.

Forgot to mention that the Carolina Ballet box office does NOT charge the ridiculous service charges that Ticketmaster does - there may be a $2 processing fee if they are mailed.

Glad you bypassed Ticketmaster and got your tickets directly from Carolina Ballet. Enjoy! CB's Messiah is a great show!

I try to buy in person for all the shows I go to these days. Ticketmaster totally ticks me off!

As an aside, I don't like Carolina Ballet's "Messiah." I'm not a huge fan of Weiss' choreography anyway, but this one I find to be "schizophrenic." The music is great, and the staging is good, though.

I'm a big fan of people with schizophrenia, so maybe I'll enjoy it?
