OK, I made my conference reservations and was thinking of staying at Micrtel in Raleigh, can anyone tell me if this is going to be a good place to stay? I have stayed at another Micrtel before and liked it, just don't know of the area of were this one is located.
Thanks
This is not the best area of Raleigh. When you not familiar with the area your best bet is to stay at the hotel where the conference is and ask for the conference rate.
Have you looked into the Residence Inn behind the Crabtree Valley Mall? Clean rooms with small kitchens. Very friendly staff. They have breakfast every morning and an evening social with a light dinner, wine and beer during the week. Rates are around $90-99, depending on the number of bedrooms you need.
