I need to find a store that sells curtain holders and curtains for my side light windows on my front door. Does anyone know where to find them? It seems that most people have these on their front door, but very few people know where to buy them. I have tried home depot and lowes and they don't sell them. Any help is greatly appreciated to end my quest! Cheers!

I always thought Penney's carried them, either in the store or online.

There is a magazine that I get called "Country Curtains" and I've seen them in there.

You could always buy 1 curtain and cut it down and use that...if you have craft or sewing skills...which I do not!

How handy are you? For my last house, I made my own because I couldn't find any that were white but not sheer. If you sew, wonderful... if not, there is iron on seaming that they sell at fabric places. JoAnn's might have it. They will have many fabrics. The brackets can be purchased at Walmart or maybe online from Linens N' Things-type places. First install the brackets, then measure the length, adding seam allowance at top and bottom, plus however wide you want a ruffle at top and bottom. Add two rows of stitching to create the "channel" for the bracket on top and bottom. Then measure width and make each panel 2x width at least (or to your liking) to allow for gathering. Or if you don't sew, a friend who does could do this for you in less than 2 hours, for a fraction of the cost of purchasing the panels from Country Curtains. Good luck, they are not easy to find ... hope this helps.

Penneys had them when I was looking for some, although you might have to go through their site or catalog and I think Bed Bath & Beyond had them as well.

thanks for your reponses. I looked at bed bath and beyond. Maybe in my area, they didn't have it. I will look again. As for making my own, i have to be the uncraftiest person ever, so i will try to buy them. I wish could make them. Will look at Penny's.

I just bought mine from the Penney's catalog. They don't carry them in stores.

Bed Bath and Beyond should carry them. If nothing else, they carry the rods.
