We headed to Fresh Market on Cary Parkway after lunch today and had to wait in a stalled line due to repainting of the lines. A machine was grinding off the existing thick lines and then they were painting new lines about a foot to the left. The new lines are now off center and there are grooves left in the road where the old lines were. Now it looks like patchwork. I wonder how much this botched job cost and why they needed to do this? The lines they ground off were the thick painted lines, not the temporary ones.
