It is rarely one lone rodent.

You might want to rethink leaving them alone because they love to chew on wires.

If you hear them in the ceiling it could be flying squirrels, which also
chew through wires. We have had a nest of them before and they do a lot of damage.

Ugh, I'll tell them - I'm not sure how they can eliminate though - I don't see any holes and there are a lot of apartments in the building

Having just moved from Rhode Island, I can verify that, yes, this is, in fact, cold. I would call it a more realistic cold, however...

That plastic snow they use in Christmas displays is pretty unrealistic. Perhaps that's what they meant.

TV news report this morning said Minnesota had an actual temperature of 40 below.
