Imperial Automotive in Cary. 602 B East Chatham Street. I just had my car worked on there yesterday. They are very honest and dependable. They have cured our fear of mechanics.

I know you want to avoid Ford Dealers but you may be interested that Crossroads Ford has online coupons that may be useful and are very competitive to other garages

I have a 1994 Ford Taurus. Very low mileage on the original engine. I always go the Capital Ford. The owner is very much hands on and if there are ANY problems, he is available by phone to resolve the situation.

For smallish things, I got to Duty Tire on Atlantic Avenue in Raleigh. Have for years..and years...and years..
