For those interested I have been clocking some travel times this week to various places I have had to go. I know one of the major concerns with Holly Springs that people keep bring up is driving time to other areas. I will post the ones I have done this week and then continue to add as I drive Hope this helps! All these are from my home in Sunset Ridge.

HS to Southpointe Mall 55 to 64 to 751 (34 minutes)
week day around 10 am

HS to Target in Apex (12 minutes)
weekday around 9 am

HS to RDU (25 minutes)
11Pm at night

HS to Fuquay Varina Holly Springs Rd to Sunset lake Rd (12 minutes) around noon time.

HS to Impact Athletcs (Preston area of Cary)55 to 1 to cary pkwy (27 minutes)
5pm traffic time

HS to RBC Center 55 to 440 to 40
11 AM 15 minutes
light traffic 20 minutes
heavy traffic 25 minutes

Savannah GA to HS Sunday daytime (5 hours 15 minutes)

Great Post. We are across Sunset Lake Road in Wescott! I always chuckle at all the posts about how Holly Spring is so "far out". I just don't see it. I never have any trouble getting anywhere and trust me, I NEVER stay home!

CAKD we never did end up getting together. Maybe we should have a little HS/South Cary get together one of these days.

Lets do it before the kids get out. PM me and we'll meet for coffee/lunch, whatever. Like I said, I never STAY home

I thought of your post today. I met my husband for lunch in the Preston area of Cary. After lunch I took a ride over to Cary Town Boulevard. It took me longer to get from Preston to Cary Towne BLVD that it did to get from HOlly Springs to Preston. I dont know where these people are coming from when they say Holly Springs is "out there". Traffic in the deep heart of Cary can be brutal.

I will PM you and we will arrange it! Sounds fun! My backup if any on these jaunts out is never in HS's but usually in Apex or Cary. There are simply just more cars on the road there. The longest part of my drive in HS's is simply getting out of my neighborhood We live in the very back of the neighborhood (Sunset Ridge is a large neighborhood) that usually takes me 3 minutes alone!
