And I don't want to buy them at Lowes or Home Depot. But I don't want to go to some glitzy showroom. What do you recommend (Cary/Raleigh area)?

When my husband was dealing with some plumbing issues in our old house, he found Ferguson's very helpful.

what's wrong with Lowes/HD? That's where I got all mine...with a 10% off coupon to boot....they seemed to have a lot of selection and prices were competitive

My father is a plumber. So I set the bar high. Even the good brands are mass produced for those stores. I'm window shopping online. And I'm also thinking about Ferguson's.

i understand and agree...i guess for my home, the normal mass produced ones (price pfister, delta, moen) serve me just fine....now if i had a custom home over $400K i may think twice

Lowes.com offers a 10% off coupon code MOVER10 (use all caps).

If you are spending less than $100 ($50 or more) , it would be more beneficial to use code LOWES50 for $10 off $50 or more.

I just sold one on Ebay because I bought the wrong kind. I also bought several on Ebay. Great prices! Overstock.com is great too- I got a nice one for my kitchen there. Cheap prices and shipping under $3.
