I wonder if you could satisfy the complainers and then make a whole nother group that gets upset and starts complaining b/c they were happy before the change.
"The board received 39,611 responses from parents – about 28 percent of those in the district."
Wow, only 28 percent responded? That's pretty sad considering the huge number of people who like to complain about the system. You'd think they would speak up when finally asked for their opinion.
Who wants to guess the new Board members will totally ignore the results.
Just like the old board members did.
I would never be satisified with the public school system here or anywhere for that matter. They don't care about children. They care about test scores and getting more money to run the system poorly. Private schools are the only ones that care about actually educating your child. If they didn't do a good job, they wouldn't be around too long. Public schools are a sham and cost tax payers way too much money.
Wrong. Private schools do it for money as long as people can pay, they're fine. If money dries up, private schools don't keep teaching our children out of the kindness of their hearts!
Public schools educate everyone for the sake of our communities. I will ALWAYS support public schools no matter WHAT even if I don't agree with boards that go in and out of favor!
