Parents are often looking for positive places where their teens can "hang out" on the weekends.
What are some options? I don't care if they are "Christian sponsored" or not. Just as long they are safe. There certainly has to be better alternatives to hanging out at the mall or going to the movie theater.
Mine go to roller skating, ice skating, Frankies, Go kart racing, out to eat, hanging out at friends' houses, things like that. There's obviously a lot more to do when it gets warm. They also like the mall and the movies!
A lot of students we know go to Night Life Cafe in Raleigh but it is only every other Friday night. It is good to have other options now that my son is getting to be that age.
dream sports in Apex was a great place to drop off the middle schoolers and younger high schoolers for the evening. They could play sports, arcade games, rollerblade, ice skate (I think) and they had food there of course. Send your young teens there with some spending money and they'll have a blast while being active.
