I think it was because last weekend no one could do their shopping, so this weekend everyone was itching to get to the mall.

We were at Crabtree, it was packed, we couldnt wait to get out of there.

I agree with dedratermi. Everyone was stuck in their homes Saturday, Sunday, and Monday because of the snow.

Of course the following Saturday would have been busy. I went to Sam's Club on Friday in the torrential rains because I knew that on Saturday it would be crowded.

It's pent-up demand.

Some economy expert said the area lost millions due to the snow. I wonder how much they made up for it this weekend.
