It looks like it will be a rough day tomorrow with wind gusts around 55 mph. With the very saturated grounds, it is expected we will see trees down on a widespread basis. Let's hope they do not land on homes or vehicles.
Secure patio furniture, take completely down patio umbrellas, turn city trash cans backwards so they
can be place flush against the wall so the wind cannot get behind it or take them in the garage, take down yard flags, anything that can get caught in the wind. I know its getting late in the evening but treat this like a snow or ice storm the power may go out have backup food supplies,
flashlights, batteries & good book
The winds will be coming out of the north and northwest. Just make sure your trees are not on the northern or western part of your yard and you'll be ok. If they are, be careful! The ground is quite soggy.
We have overhead powerlines and our power has been flickering this morning. Fun stuff.
