Hi guys,

Moving to the area for a PhD from Canada. Have been scouring craigslist and rent.com for places to live. Have heard good things about a complex called Autumn Woods in Carrboro, and in fact they have a place available for me. Just wanted to ask if anyone has any impressions of the place? Much appreciated.

I don't know anything about the quality of complex. I'll just note that it isn't in what I'd call the walkable part of carrboro, like alot of places closer to downtown Carrboro would be. Bus goes right by the front of the complex though.

I've checked them out. They were quite reasonable and were eager to give discounts. They seemd a bit small to me but I feel that way about most apartments. They aren't the nicest apartments in the area but they are far from the worst. I'd live there.

Mateo- Dont know if this will come too late, but I just leased a place at autumn woods. I will be starting graduate school down there this fall and just went down to look at apartments. This place was wonderful and a spot opened up that was perfect. I liked the layouts, the mgmt was super professional and organized, and it had great ratings on apartmentratings.com whereas a few other places I had looked at commented on bugs, etc. This place has clean facilities and really seems to be on an upswing. If you have specific questions, be in touch!
