Agreed. Intersection of 64/264 with 96 in Zebulon seems to be the halfway point WRT distance and time. Not sure what happens once you add traffic into the equation though.

Nothing exactly half way. Zebulon is still probably the best bet. Here is a web site that will give you the best meeting point between any two locations. MeetWays - Meet in the Middle - Find a point of interest between two addresses
