My dog went there 5 yrs ago after ACL surgery. She did great and even became one of their 'demo dogs' for a year or so afterwards when they had some vets taking a seminar there.
I want to exercise my dog via swimming. I have a friend in another state who has a dog center with a swim pool for canine exercise and therapy. It's fantastic!
Does anyone know of any such facility in the Triangle area? I googled but don't see anything...just a pond in Youngsville, for which it's too cold now anyway.
I don't think it's ever too cold for a dog to swim. My dog went swimming in falls lake yesterday. He loves it. Why pay when there are plenty of waterholes around town?
The reason to pay is this; Falls lake is very polluted when they close the beach for humans do you think it is ok for dogs? Both my dogs have been sick from Falls lake swimming, had their paws cut on glass and got fish line between their toes.
Nothing wrong with a free swim but you do have to consider the place.
