Alas, you are right... it IS still February, afterall. I should just accept that the lovely weekend we had was a nice reprieve and keep the mindset that it is still winter.
Those lovely warm spells always throw me into my Spring mode (like Punxatwany Phil?). You would think I would learn, but no... not me.
The last 2 years I have gotten way too excited and planted flowers before the end of April and after a couple of warm weeks. I believe it was 2 years ago that we got snow on Easter morning(?). Woke up to find all of my new perennials frozen stiff.
