Today I filled up my little Sentra at the BP off of Durant Road in N. Raleigh. Here are the prices they had posted today. Not that I expect huge differences from town to town here, still I was wondering how this compared to other areas in the Traingle.

Octane /($/Gallon)

87 / $3.159

89 / $3.279

93 / $3.399

Wow, im surprised.. i thought NC had lower prices than florida. I live in the most expensive county in florida for gas, and were still cheaper than your quote (our lowest price in the county that is)
87- $3.149
89- $3.249
Premium - 3.349

But i would say the average is more like 3.19 a gallon for 87 .. the most expensive in the county today is 3.29 a gallon for 87 :O

The Shell on the corner of N. Duke Street and Horton Rd was 87/$3.05. That was the only number I noticed.

There is a Citgo on Lake Wheeler Road that was $2.99 for regular when I drove by on my way to class last night. As you can imagine, the lines for "cheap gas" were really long and it was hard to get into or out of the station.

Today I paid $2.87 for regular in New Jersey (North). The news said that New Jersey is the state with the cheapest gas price.

Other gas companies are much higher by maybe 30 cents per gallon at stations near the freeway, They know they gotcha there.
