This isn't a full list by any means, but via QAM I get the following:
UNC-TV PBS HD and subs 4.1-4.5
WRAL CBS HD - 5.1 and sub (5.2)
WGN America SD - 12
News 14 Carolina SD - 14
WNCN NBC HD - 17.1 and sub (17.2)
My RDU HD - 28.1 and sub (28.2)
One of the spanish stations in HD (Univision I think) 40.1
Ion HD? - 47 (Could be a different station now, I don't watch it so not sure).
WRAZ Fox HD - 50.1 and it's sub (50.2)
Back in March or April, they moved WTVD ABC HD behind the filter range, so I haven't had ABC most the year which I didn't think they were allowed to do.
Also unrelated to the issue above, I noticed that one of my TVs can get "MeTV" (I forget the channel number), but the other one can't. Are there QAM tuners with different capabilities?
NBC and Fox both moved on me. Still don't have ABC though.
I believe these are correct. I'm at work so I can't check until this evening.
WNCN is now QAM256 120.2
WRAZ is now QAM256 121.5
Yeah, I was hoping that ABC would be moved into range when I noticed NBC & Fox shifted and needed a rescan. Oh well. And it's not like any amount of complaining to TWC would help, as it would be almost impossible to find someone who would understand the situation.
I believe the attitude of TWC is: they can juggle the lineup whenever and wherever they want, and your only recourse is to rescan -- or rent a STB from them.
It would be helpful for those of us who despise STBs to have an accurate index of the QAM channels.
I am in Charlotte. Does anyone know where Fox HD went? I think it is WCCB. I hope I can find it before NFL starts
Also, TWC sent me two digital adapters for free (I am paying for their "broadcast TV" package). Do you think I have to use the adapters now since I can't seem to find Fox or ABC in HD?
I live in Cary (27511) and I re-scanned the available Time Warner "broadcast cable" channels on my TV a few weeks ago and I just got around to weeding out all the duplicate lower resolution and non-digital channels as well as the home shopping and Spanish language channels. This is the list of what I have left. Note that I can't figure out what 120-8 is. I watched it for a little while, but I didn't see a station identification. If you know what it is, let me know.
