I need a tent. A big one that can fit two queen size air mattresses and maybe one or two twin ones as well. Since this might be pricey, I'm looking for a good outlet center.

I've been to the Coleman outlet in Myrtle Beach but I was hoping there might be one closer. Apparently the one in Smithfield closed down a few years ago.

Any suggestions? I know there probably isnt one in the Triangle area so I'm willing to drive a bit.

Also, any good camping stores you would recommend?

I buy most of my camping gear at REI, since they have a 100% satisfaction return policy. Of course, you pay a bit more for higher quality gear there, but if it busts or winds up being crappy, you can return it.

Great outdoor provision company is also good, but it is predominantly high end gear.

If you are just looking for a big cheap tent, then get a coleman or Eureka at Walmart or Dicks Sporting goods.

Alternatively, swing by Cameron Indoor Stadium on Monday, and collect whatever the rugrats have abandoned. I've got a buddy who scored a huge North Face family camping tent there a few years back (the smell of beer eventually wore off).

If you have some time before your trip you might consider looking online at Sierra Trading or Cabelas. I personally bought my tent at Cabelas and it is a great buy. They stand by their products and have customer reviews.

13'x11' should be large enough - Coleman or 15' Coleman or 12'x12' Coleman

I always check Overstock first.
