My family and I are moving to the Raleigh area and are looking for land to build our new home. We are looking for a minimum of two acres in a rural area with no more than a 45 min drive to the Raleigh airport. We are looking to getaway from the 1/3 acre, overpriced community type living. We would also be interested in a fixer upper if it were in a nice neighborhood as long as it had the amount of land we were looking for.

Any help would be appreciated

I would suggest southern granville county (which encompasses parts of wake forest, creedmoor, and franklinton). Those areas are within the 45 minutes to the airport (hopefully). I think it depends on what you mean by 45 minutes from raleigh, which part of raleigh?

You can also go the other direction to johnston county, it all depends on where you are trying to get to within 45 minutes.

Thanks Leigh

I need something no more than 45 min from the raleigh airport. What is the average cost of an acre in the areas that you suggested?

Do you want just land, or land with a house on it already?

Our first choice is land to build on. If we can't find rural land for less than 10,000 and acre, we will have to shift focuss to a fixer upper with land.

There is one in country club farms in zebulon, 4 on walters road in creedmoor, all within your range, and some are perked.

pm me if you have more questions.
