I had gotten some information from a friend on the "village at Rollesville" David Weekly homes. With the school crowding in the Cary apex area, and traffic, though maybe we would check out the other side of Raliegh, since my husbands job is off the 440 near crabtree mall. Anyone familiar with this area?
Thanks

On tv news the other night there was a story about two house fires in Rolesville. They have a fire department, but not the equipment to deal with two story buildings. The roads and infrastructure out there aren't ready to handle the population growth yet. The story below really sends the message that builders are slapping houses too close to one another. Four houses, built less than 20 feet from each other, were affected. I guess in Cary where some of the new homes are probably 8 feet from each other, the risk is greater.

ROLESVILLE - A fire town officials believe was caused by combustible materials on a family's back porch destroyed two relatively new two-story homes and damaged two others in Rolesville Friday afternoon...

We live in Youngsville off of Hwy 98 and do all of our food shopping at the Food Lion in Rolesville, looks like a nice town to live in. We also like the Mexican restaurant in that same shopping center.

Hi

I don't know if you are still on this post, but I'm looking to move to Youngsville, how long have you lived there? Do you like it? Can you recommend other cities?

Thanks
Dianne

We have lived in Youngsville since May 15th, so this Friday will be one month!!

I love it here! I would also recommend Wake Forest, Northern parts of Raleigh and Rolesville.

What else would you like to know? You can PM me if you'd like.

Rolesville is a great out-lying town along with WAke Forest and Youngsville. All of them have there nuances. Rolesville is a little more than Youngsville (size wize) and Wake Forest is a bigger than both of them. Regardless, you are within mins to any convenience that you need.

Default Commute time from Rolesville

Does anyone know how long the commute will be from the Village at Rolesville to the CISCO area in RTP? I would probably be traveling on 540 around 7AM or so. Thanks

My guess would be about 40 - 50 minutes. I have found that using Google or Map Quest and adding 5-10 works pretty well.
