Today is the first day of Spring and it will be 78. What are you going to do today to take advantage of a beautiful Spring day?

My partner is away visiting, so I think I will take the time to get some gardening chores done, go find a specimen shrub I need and power-wash the driveway. I think once I am outside, I shall not come back inside until sundown.

Get out there and enjoy.

Heading to the flea market to look for a few goodies for the house, plus it's a nice way to spend a couple of hours outdoors.

Grilling up some spiedies tonight (upstate NYers know what I'm talking about!).

And tomorrow, autocross! It's the first event of the season and I can't wait. It's looking like the rain won't hit until later in the day, so the weather should be perfect while we run.

Mike

Gardening, landscaping, and GARDENING. One raised bed is ready. Now we are tackling the flower beds and porch at the side door.

There are some semi-flat stones we trip over and we are going to remove them and replace with really flat 12 X 12 blocks.

SPRING is always welcomed here...

Had my oldest sons birthday party, where I booted a bunch of 8 yr olds outside to play, enjoyed some great family time sitting on the deck after the party, and finished off this perfect first day of spring with a trip to Backyard BBQ Pit. Yumm!

We took our daughter miniature golfing at Adventure Landing today and soaked up some rays. The rest of the day was spent furniture shopping...yuck! We did dine on the outdoor patio at Pei Wei though! Now we are getting ready to host a batch of teenage girls to a bonfire and smores out back....the first of many!! Yay Spring!
