I plan on cutting the grass for the first time this season, planting some lily bulbs by the mailbox and putting some bush cucumber plants in my square foot garden. (I know it is early for veggies, but I am betting we don't get another frost!)

So what are you planting / doing in your yard this weekend!

Absolutely. The next four days actually.

I plan on putting the stakes in for my tomatoes and even considered planting some warm season crops, but I just know that will induce a frost.

Painting the front porch and reinstalling my window screens. Enjoy the sun.

You're just now mowing the lawn for the first time? Lucky. I mowed for the second time last night. I'm cutting down trees and quietly hoping my HOA won't throw a fit. But considering how overgrown the lot is, I doubt it. The neighbors compliment it.

Other than that, just cleaning up debris from the high winds last weekend and potting some new plants on the patio.

Mike

Probably paint around the front door then sit in the sun the rest of the weekend. Dinner in Chapel hill Friday night then off to Pilot Mtn Sat for some hiking.

I'm planning to powerwash the deck and front porch while my husband is working on getting some plants in the ground. We've got some vegetables already planted in extra large containers on the deck. We might even go crazy and have some mulch delivered next week!

We're going to the beach. Definitely no yard work. I've done a TON of yard work in the last 2 weeks though. I need a break already!

We always fill our pots with plants and put flowers in on Easter weekend. We have no family local so we spend the holiday at home and it's a nice family activity.

I will be heading out tomorrow or Friday to pick my flowers. Not sure what I want to put in yet.

I've been soooo itchy to do it before this weekend with the nice weather we've had lately, but my husband reminded me that it's become our Easter family tradition.

I would enjoy the sunshine rather than powerwash this weekend - wait until after the pine pollen, and do it ready for summer, after all the mess it makes when it covers everywhere in the next few weeks

Were going to Hanging Rock State Park for the weekend. Rented a cabin. Our 4 yr old son is worried that the Easter Bunny won't find us there, so I had him write a note telling the Easter Bunny where we are.
