What a relief! I'm moving and now I can get rid of Mt. St. Paper.

It's going to be April 17 10-2, sponsored by NBC 17. A few locations including Fayetteville.

Raleigh NC Shred-it

There will also be Goodwill trucks there taking donations...perfect!

No, in fact I'm not even leaving my apartment complex! Decided buying was foolish as my industry is not so stable...just moving to a better apartment, more conducive to working from home

I'm going to (shhhhhhhh!) break the cardinal rule of "no bumping," and bring this thread back to the front page -- as the subject has been brought up in more than one new thread.

Sooooooo -- here's a reminder that the Raleigh Shred-It event occurs this weekend (4/17/10)!

There is another shred event today as well:

The local shredding event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the parking lot of Coastal Federal Credit Union, located off Wake Forest Road at 1000 St. Albans Drive, Raleigh, NC 27609.

Default I missed it...What now?

I missed the Shred It event Sat. the 17th. Are there any other dates scheduled for Raleigh or Wake Forest?

Am I the only one who doesn't understand these things? I just saw one on the news last night and was completely baffled. Paper shredders are dirt cheap these days.

They are but then sometimes they're slow, and then you've got more to shred...and more to shred...and more to shred...and suddenly it looks like an all-day job...and then you start working from home and can't dump it in the bin at work...and then you become very happy at the prospect of dumping it all somewhere for free

(that was a little crazy yesterday!)

This is sponsored by a different group I think, but one in Raleigh on 4/24.
